Hitachi Systems Trusted Cyber Management Appoints Gajen Kandiah as Chairman of the Board

Industry Veteran to Help Expand the Business and Solidify Industry Leadership Position

SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA—January 22, 2024— Hitachi Systems Trusted Cyber Management (HSTCM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gajen Kandiah as its new Chairman of the Board, effective January 1, 2024. Kandiah succeeds Shin Kuno, who served as Chairman of the HSTCM Board since September 2022.

The current President of Hitachi Digital LLC, Chief Digital Transformation Officer for Hitachi’s Digital Systems & Services sector, Co-Lead of the Hitachi AI Transformation Center, Executive Chairman of Hitachi Digital Services and, most recently, the Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Vantara, Gajen offers HSTCM nearly three decades of experience building winning IT and digital businesses, driving strategic investments and growth avenues, and helping organizations transform and navigate the complexities associated with rapidly evolving technologies, markets, and industries.
